Ninko: An invisible fox spirit that humans can only detect when the spirit is possessing them.

Abilities:

Possession - Toh has the ability to possess humans and spirits who formerly were human. However, because she's only been able to use her powers for a couple years now, this is still fairly faulty and cannot always be relied on. The ability can only be used for 2 or 3 minutes at a time, and the longer she does use it, the weaker it makes her as the user. If used for the full length of time (3 minutes) she will be too weak to fight. 

Fox Fire - Toh can use the air around her to create fox fire in her hands, which she throws in the form of balls. Because she does have to use the air to form these balls, she cannot use this ability indoors. 

Heightened Senses - Toh's sense of smell and hearing are incredibly strong compared to that of a human, allowing her to pick out the scent of Mythos from among those that are Human.

Toh has a tendency to lead towards anger rather quickly. Having spent most of her early childhood in a very unhealthy household, her reaction to things starts off very bitterly. However, thanks to a very kind human and a couple good friends, she's learned to behave a little better. Still, she is very . . .

Irrational - She's got an opinion, and she is damn sure she's going to keep that opinion, no matter what. Very few can sway her.

Sassy - She can sass people out of house and home if she's given the chance. Basically, she doesn't take anyone's crap. She's not afraid to be blunt.

Attached - She doesn't make friends easily, but when she does, she gets a bit attached like her species tends to do. Be nice, she'll become as much of a support as she can possibly be. Betray her trust, and she'll burn your rice crops down. Beware.

Hot-Cold - Although she puts up a front, sometimes there are things she just can't hide, and they'll soften her up a little depending on who she's with. Her intense fear of water also sometimes breaks those boundaries, showing a side that she doesn't like to put out in the open.

Confident - Toh isn't the strongest Mythos out there by far, but she's confident that she can do everything she can to aid the stronger fighters. She knows what she's doing, and she knows how to get what she wants, even if it is going to be a challenge.

History

The first eight years of Sano Torima's life were anything but pleasant. Her parents were very avid worshipers of Inari, the fox goddess, and as such, they devoted their whole lives to it. Toh being born was an accident, needless to say, and not one that was well received. From the time she could remember she would go days without eating, days of being neglected by her own parents who would much rather spend time at the temple than care for her. If she made mistakes, she was punished severely, to the point where her parents had once made her sleep in the gated backyard.

When Toh was eight, her parents decided to try and force her to come to the temple with them on a regular basis, saying that she needed “converted” despite having never had beliefs in the first place. When Toh refused, her parents tried to dispose of her by dropping her into a pool. Not being able to swim, she barely got out before drowning thanks to the help of passerby. To this day, however, she is terrified of water because of what her parents did to her.

Knowing that she wasn't welcome at her home anymore, Toh wondered aimlessly for several months, a homeless child on the streets. Her original home, on the outskirts of Kyoto, she left, knowing that if her parents found out she had survived, she certainly wouldn't make it out a second time. Somehow, she managed to find her way to Tokyo, but by then, her opinion of humans had faded fast, as not a single person had stopped to help her. Eventually, one hot summer day, she collapsed from exhaustion and hunger, and would have died were it not for one old man.

The first thing she noticed was the sudden shade from the hot sun, and when she slowly opened her eyes, she found a bright red apple in her face. Attached to the apple was a hand, which led to the kind old human that would eventually take her in and raise her. Although wary at first, she soon grew to care for him, and lived with him for years without revealing herself as a Ninko. Upon his death when she turned fifteen, she received his small fortune and the house that he lived in, assuring her a place of safety for the rest of her life.

Toh was not one to sit around, however, and eventually got a job at a bar not far from her home. It was there that she heard about the Chancel, and there that she met Oshiro Yuya, whose constant advances she turned down until a year later, when she agreed to go on a date with the Kasha in return for him joining the Chancel. The last thing she expected was for him to become her partner, of course, but their strange relationship strengthened and stabilized into what it is now. Toh is proud to serve for the Chancel and take care of rogues so that she could help to protect from those not unlike her own parents.

Toh and Yuya are currently dating.

Toh's intense fear of water makes her a little unreliable in circumstances placing her near large bodies of it.

Despite her experiences as a child, Toh does love humans and likes to do what she can to take care of them.

She's a bit of a drinker and can go overboard if not stopped. Usually, she isn't.
