Broke My Heart

I wanted to experiment a bit and since I already had Nyssa's palette out and stuff I decided on her. Besides, she's fun and easy to work with, and her hair is always a nice treat to work with~

The story behind this one...um...for the Linden storyline, the first person she met after running into the woods was Matt. They, realizing they were the same of a dying species, bonded immediately, and eventually came to believe they loved each other. The only problem was that the more time that went by, the more Matt realized that he didn't care for Nyssa in that way. She was more of a sister to him (not to mention he figured out eventually he just didn't swing that way). The only problem was that Nyssa actually did love him. And so, when he told her that he just didn't care for her in the way she wanted him to, it broke her heart. But she doesn't show it in front of him. She still supports him and whatever he chooses to do. But behind closed doors, wherever he can't see her, it's clear that she was deeply hurt by this.

She does eventually get over this and realize that her feelings weren't as secure as she'd thought too. As of right now, she is not in a relationship, though.
